Privacy Policy for FluxZone
Effective Date: July 31, 2026
Last Updated: July 31, 2026
Welcome to FluxZone. Your privacy and security are fundamental to our mission. This Privacy Policy explains how FluxZone (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our messaging application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
- OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT (END-TO-END ENCRYPTION)
FluxZone is designed with privacy at its core. Your personal messages, voice notes, photos, videos, and calls are secured using end-to-end encryption.
- What this means: Only you and the person or group you are communicating with can read or listen to your messages.
- What we cannot do: We cannot read your message content, view your shared media, or listen to your private calls, as we do not hold the decryption keys.
- INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Although we cannot read your content, we collect limited information required to deliver, maintain, and secure our Services.
A. Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you register, you provide your phone number, which serves as your primary identifier. You may also voluntarily add a profile photo, display name, and an “About” status.
- Customer Support: Information you submit when contacting our support team (e.g., bug reports, email contact details).
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage & Log Information: Technical data about service performance, crash reports, diagnostic logs, and error reporting to help keep FluxZone stable and reliable.
- Device & Connection Details: Hardware model, operating system version, app version, mobile network information, and IP address used for network connectivity.
- Metadata: Technical transmission logs necessary to deliver messages (such as timestamps, delivery status, and routing data). Metadata is kept to the absolute minimum necessary for service delivery and troubleshooting.
C. Contacts Information
- Address Book Access: With your explicit permission, FluxZone periodically checks your phone’s address book to identify which of your contacts are already using FluxZone. Phone numbers are processed securely using cryptographic hashes to protect contact identity. We do not store your entire address book on our servers.
- HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and provide the core messaging and calling features of FluxZone.
- Authenticate your identity via SMS/call verification codes.
- Improve network routing, connection stability, and app quality.
- Maintain account security, detect malicious activity, and prevent spam or misuse.
- Respond to customer service and support inquiries.
- HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS SHARED
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or contact details. We share information only under the following strictly defined conditions:
- Other FluxZone Users: Your display name, profile photo, “About” status, online presence (if enabled), and read receipts (if enabled) are visible to other users according to your privacy settings.
- Service Providers: We work with vetted third-party vendors to provide infrastructure services, such as SMS verification delivery and cloud hosting. These vendors access only the minimal data required to perform their tasks under strict confidentiality terms.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose account metadata only if required by a valid, legally binding court order or government process. Because your messages are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot produce decrypted message contents under any circumstances.
- DATA RETENTION & ACCOUNT DELETION
- Undelivered Messages: If a message cannot be delivered immediately (e.g., the recipient is offline), it remains encrypted on our servers for up to 30 days while attempting delivery. Once delivered, it is deleted from our servers.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your FluxZone account directly in the app at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile information, group memberships, and revokes your authentication tokens from our active database.
- YOUR PRIVACY CONTROLS & CHOICES
FluxZone provides built-in settings allowing you to control your privacy:
- Profile & Presence: Manage who can see your profile photo, “Last Seen”, online status, and “About” info.
- Read Receipts & Typing Indicators: Turn read receipts on or off.
- Blocked Contacts: Manage your list of blocked users.
- Disappearing Messages: Enable auto-deleting message timers for individual chats or groups.
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
FluxZone is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app, legal obligations, or technical standards. When updates occur, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and notify you within the app.
